Coming from the West/South: Rte 295 to/or Turnpike to Exit 7A. Follow Rte 195 East off the exit for appx. 20 miles. Or, Garden State Parkway North to exit 98B, take Rte.195 East for just a few miles. From 195E, take Route 18N exit. Travel just a mile or two. Take Route 33 East, Neptune Exit. Left off exit. (This is also known as Corlies Ave.) Travel a mile or so. **Cross RR tracks. Make a left at the light onto Rt. 71. (Ignore the entrance into Ocean Grove at that light). Proceed forward on 71 till the next light. Make right at that light, through the brick pillars. You are now in Ocean Grove and you're on Main Avenue. Travel about 7 blocks, through center of town. Make a left at Nagle's Restaurant onto Central Avenue (2 blocks from the beach). We are three blocks ahead on right side on the corner at McClintock Street.

Coming from the North: Parkway south or the NJ Turnpike south to exit 11. Jump on the Parkway at exit 11 and follow it south to Exit 100B. Proceed on Route 33 East, also known as Corleis Ave., about 3-4 miles to Ocean Grove and see above. ** Route 18 South also brings you to Ocean Grove. Take the Rt. 33 East exit and follow above.

You want North Jersey Coast Line to the Asbury Park station. If it's late, I'd suggest taking the train one stop further to Bradley Beach. It's only a mile south of Ocean Grove. Call for a cab.

Arrive in Asbury Park. If it's daylight, you can walk into Ocean Grove or take a cab. Cabs line the station. If you walk, aim for the Dunkin Donuts across the street (east of the train station). You'll see Ocean Grove on the right side of the lake. Walk along that sidewalk along the lake. Two blocks from the beach, there will be a park on your right. Walk diagonally through the park which puts you onto Central Avenue. Walk appx. 5 blocks south on Central. We are on the left - a gold Inn with green and maroon trim. Arriving in Bradley Beach. If it's late, I'd suggest taking the train one stop further to Bradley Beach. It's only a mile south of Ocean Grove. Call for a cab.

Click COMMUTER, click PORT AUTHORITY, click SHORE POINTS. The bus departs Port Authority, NY, and arrives in Ocean Grove 4 blocks from the Inn. The bus stop is on Main Ave. in front of the post office. Walk one block east. Turn left at Nagle's onto Central Ave. We're three blocks on the right.

NJ Transit
Click through to Bus #317. This bus departs from 10th & Filbert, Philadelphia and arrives at the train station in Asbury Park. You can walk into Ocean Grove or take a cab. Cabs line the station. Located a mere 50 miles north of the Central Avenue House. You can easily rent a car at the terminal, or take the train from the airport to the shore. It is ideal airport for those without rental cars.

Either Asbury Park or Bradley Beach is your destination. If your train switches in Long Branch... don't forget to switch trains!
